MONTICELLO - University of Arkansas at Monticello men's basketball player Derylton Hill has been selected to the top 50 watch list for the Bevo Francis Award. The Clarence "Bevo" Francis Award is presented annually to the player who has had the finest overall season within Small College Basketball. Considerations will be season statistics and individual achievements, awards, personal character and team achievements. This is an incredibly prestigious award, as this award will only be given to one player within Small College Basketball per season. Hill, a junior forward for the Weevils, currently stands at fourth overall in points per game in the Great American Conference with 17.9 points per contest. Derylton also ranks third overall in the GAC in overall rebounding with 7.8 boards per match-up. The Palm Bay, Florida native has been selected as the GAC Player of the Week three total times this season, leading the #16 UAM offensive attack to a 19-3 overall record with a 15-3 record in the conference. Derylton leads UAM in field goal percentage at 59 percent, and ranks second in the GAC in the stat category. Hill also leads Arkansas-Monticello in field goals made with 145, total rebounds at 172 and total blocked shots with 10 overall.
