Ayesha Wahid Earns All-GAC Honorable Mention Selection

MONTICELLO, Arkansas – University of Arkansas at Monticello women's basketball student-athlete Ayesha Wahid has been tabbed as a Honorable Mention All-Great American Conference selection.
Ayesha, a sophomore from Missouri City, Texas, ended the year after leading UAM in points per game with 12.8 during the season. Wahid also led the Blossoms in three-pointers made (53), minutes per game (31.8), total points (320), and blocks (18).
Wahid also recorded five 20-plus point games during the season, including a season-high 24 points on February 23 at Oklahoma Baptist in Shawnee, Oklahoma. She also finished the year averaging 3.4 rebounds per game, along with totaling 28 steals, 36 assists, and shot 41 percent from the floor during the season.
